Variations on a theme.  This was the first house I designed and built from scratch.  The owner had a well thought out idea of what he wanted the house to be, and the lot restrictions severely limited the possibilities.  These parameters allowed me to focus on exterior design elements and novel floor plans.  Things like roof overhangs sized to block the sun in the summer and let it pour in in the winter, structural and decretive brackets, varied facia/soffit sizes, unique interior details and finishes, turn a fairly standard house into an extraordinary home, in an extraordinary place.
